@@raunylima3863 OK just take your time and slow down. That’s why I always pull it through with a rope that I tied off in the beginning so it don’t get lost kind of. The only other thing you can do. If you’re trans axle is out of the car. Is have somebody put it through while you were watching through the rear hole. If your trans axle is in the car. sadly, it’s going to just be a little bit of a fight. Well, you have to keep pulling the tube forward and putting it back through until it goes through the proper motions. I wished I had a trick that didn’t involve the rope in the beginning.

@SladesVWBeetle I'm one of the co-founders of SuperBeetles Only! James (aka Superman) and I started it in 1999 (I'm H2OSB on there and everywhere). James has fallen off the face of the Earth. Mark and I have both tried to locate him. I actually took a hiatus from the VW hobby in 2004, but came back after 10 years. Now I'm more into Super Beetles than ever.

That is awesome. I haven’t known the history on super beetles only. It’s actually a very very good group. The first one I did on RUclips was a super beetle. I was amazed at the handling, and much more comfort compared to the standard.

Oh wow, you just made my whole day! I know a few people were saying the empi air filters did not fit the cages I have. I will definitely give my local NAPA a call. I’m new to these carburetors as you already know. You’re always a big help. I appreciate that more than you realize.

If you mean the carbs, get the real Kadrons. The Empi clones are junk.
